Save a Copy --- you may be familiar with a Save command under the File menu in other applications. Because HyperCard continually writes your file to the disk as you use it (in effect "saving" your file), there is no Save command. If you wish to Save a HyperCard stack that you are working on (if you want to experiment and still not "mess up" original file), you must Save a Copy. That file will be called Copy of (whatever your stack name is).

Compact Stack --- HyperCard stacks can get very large, especially if there are lots of graphics and sounds. There is a compression algorithm built in to reduce the size of the stack. When you choose Compact Stack, the stack gets compressed reducing the size of the stack. You can write a script to do this automatically.
